Replacement Bowden Cable Clip
Replace the clip holding the front bowden cable without having to replace the entire cable. Quick 1 minute install using a 3D printed black UV and heat resistant resin. Ships in a 3 pack.
About this:
The bowden cable (51238168163) linking the interior hood release lever and exterior hood catch has a plastic tab that holds the cable against the top edge of the front air duct. Over time with heat and engine cycles, the plastic tab breaks off leaving the cable to loosely sit and rub against the front air duct. Because the tab is captured within the bowden cable, to replace this would require you to replace the cable going from the front left hood latch to the interior hood release latch. This solution keeps your bowden cable tucked neatly along the metal frame while maintaining an OEM appearance.
